Dispatcher

Job Overview:

A dispatcher is responsible for managing service calls and dispatching Plumbing/HVAC service teams and technicians to customer locations in a timely manner. Must have knowledge of HVAC & Plumbing services to translate the needs of the customer to service teams and technician and vice versa. The main duty of the dispatcher is to maintain the work schedules for field technicians and ensure e that all customer commitments are met. A dispatcher is responsible for providing logistical support to technicians and communicating with both fellow employees and customers. Dispatchers are responsible for informing customers of the progress of service operations while ensuring that technicians operate in a cost-effective fashion.

Job Responsibilities:

• * Schedule and dispatch service teams and technicians to appropriate locations using company processed, software, email and phones.
• * Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, follow up calls, promote our Planned Maintenance Agreements.
• * Resolve customer complaints or answer customer questions.
• * Analyze information and evaluate the results to choose the best solution to solve problems.
• * Assist in processing purchase orders
• * Manage the Warranty registration of newly purchased equipment.
• * Keep customers and technicians aware of status of orders and scheduling changes.
• * Filing and other miscellaneous administrative duties.
• * Running reports to include daily breakdowns.

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of work experience as a Dispatcher in a Plumbing/HVAC services company.
• * High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
• * Valid driver’s license.
• * Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
• * Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• * Ability to multitask while remaining detail oriented.
• * Comfortable with learning new software programs.
• * Team player.
• * Good time-management skills.
• * Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• * Must be available for over time during busy seasons.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
