Job Description:

DeNovix is seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. This role involves the assembly, calibration, and certification of our high-precision laboratory instruments. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and computer skills, enjoys working with their hands, and takes pride in building high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble instruments and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Perform calibration and functional testing to ensure product quality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electronic issues during production.
  • Conduct final certification of instruments to meet company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of production processes and test results.
  • Collaborate with engineering and service teams to improve assembly processes.
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with mechanical and electronic assembly.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and follow schematics, diagrams, and technical instructions.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment.
  • Computer skills, including software installation, hardware assembly, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience working on personal projects such as building computers or automotive repair is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

The instruments enable the fastest cell counts, viability assessment, and GFP transfection efficiency measurements across the widest range of cell density, cell type and application.

Our instruments are primarily utilized in life science research labs throughout the world for quantification of nucleic acids, proteins.
