What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN (Registered Nurse) position at DeNovo Recovery?
The Nurse is responsible for working closely with the direct care and clinical staff to provide health services and professional nursing care for all clients.

7:45am - 1:45pm
Essential Functions
- Conduct a nurse’s assessment within 72 hours of client admission. Review all admitting paperwork
- Conduct a 1 week Nurses' follow up
- Have a working relationship with facility Psychiatrist. Manage scheduling client/Dr. appointments and keep a log for daily psych evaluations and 2 week follow ups.
- Review/manage client medications to ensure they are stocked. Work closely with the Pharmacy to ensure client medications are being filled.
- Conduct vitals review daily.
- Responsible for managing and uploading admitting medical records.
- Work with clients for any medical needs outside Dr. appointments.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations in regard to client confidentiality.
- Answer all calls effectively.
- Maintain strict confidentiality on all client and foundation matters and refer questionable issues to your supervisor.
- Complete administrative duties as needed to ensure appropriate client health services, including policy and procedure updates.
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum of one year nursing experience preferably in providing care for individuals with alcohol and substance abuse, mental health and chemical dependency treatment.
- Knowledge of pharmacology as it relates to individuals with substance abuse and mental health disorders.
- Excellent assessment and communication skills.
- Possesses good time management skills needed to meet aggressive deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.

Education and Licensure Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current licensure as RN
- Current certification in CPR and First Aid
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 per hour
