Position: Cloud Software Engineer 2
Clearance: TS/SCI with FS Poly (NSA)
Location: Jessup, MD
We have a critical opening for a Cloud Software Engineer to support an advanced program focused on the development and integration of Network Security Services.
Required Experience:
- Six years of experience using JAVA
- Experience designing and developing automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms.
- Experience developing and deploying: data driven analytics; event driven analytics; set of analytics orchestrated through rules engine.
- Experience documenting data models, schemas, data element dictionaries, and other technical specifications.
- Experience with Pig, PySpark, and Piranhas
Required Education & Certification:
- BS in Computer Science or related discipline. Four years of additional experience in similar projects may be substituted for BS degree requirement.
- Security or recognized IAT2 level certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Python, Java, Scala, Apache NiFi, and/or Ansible
- Experience working in Agile environment.
- Experience deploying applications in a cloud environment
- MongoDB experience
Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $145,000.00 (Commensurate with experience)
Note: The above salary range is a guideline and represents a broad spectrum of potential compensation. We recognize that a candidate's unique experience and qualifications may justify compensation beyond this range. Therefore, we remain open to considering higher salary offers for exceptionally qualified candidates.
