DeNOVO Solutions is seeking a GNCP Flight Software (FSW) Verification Engineer to support critical aerospace and defense programs. This role involves software development, testing, and verification to ensure mission success. The Senior SWE plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. The role will also be responsible for the design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and execute software verification activities for GNCP Flight Software.
- Design, develop, test, and debug software solutions for complex mission applications.
- Apply software development lifecycle best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze system capabilities and troubleshoot program errors to optimize performance.
- Develop and maintain software documentation, ensuring clear operating instructions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance software functionality and mission effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of experience in software verification and development (consideration given for advanced degrees).
- Proficiency in Python and experience with software testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink.
- Background in Computer Science (CS).
- Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented environment.
Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 annually
Compensation is based on experience and alignment with government contract labor categories.
