DeNOVO Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II to drive the development and enhancement of complex software systems. In this role, you will work on the design, development, and containerization of applications that push the boundaries of national security technology. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented Agile software team, helping to decompose systems, create automated tests, and define containerization strategies for software deployment. A Day in the Life:

Work collaboratively with a software team in an Agile cadence

Develop systems for maintainability and rapid bug resolution

Decompose systems into applications or components including defining data flows, interface requirements, and application service level agreements

Develop automated testing
-
Define and implement containerization approach for software baseline

Documents design and team best practices
Position Requirements:

Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

5 years of experience with software development in Python, Java, C , or a similar language (2 years may be substituted by a Bachelor’s Degree in adjacent field, 3 years for Master’s)

Experience with microservice development containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

Collaborates regularly with team on designs and implementations

Experience with developing automated tests for containerized applications
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience deploying in a cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure, etc.)

Experience with shell scripting (Bash, CShell, etc.)

Agile knowledge and practice (SAFe or Scrum Alliance background with Atlassian product experience in Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket)

UI experience and data presentation/visualization techniques
Salary Range: $95,000 - $135,000 annually. At DeNOVO Solutions, we value experience and expertise. Compensation may exceed the listed range to align with the skills and experience of the candidate.
