A Day in the Life:
- Develop & Innovate: Design, develop, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements, solving challenges like real-time operations and manipulation of massive data sets.
- Problem-Solving: Utilize your expertise in software development and design methodologies to resolve software problem reports and optimize system performance.
- Test & Refine: Review and test software components, documenting test results to ensure adherence to design requirements.
- Optimize & Reuse: Provide input into system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and integration of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) components.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Work individually or as part of a team, providing technical leadership and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of software projects.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 20 years of experience as a software engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Proven expertise in software development, algorithm design, and system integration, with a deep understanding of hardware/software trade-offs.
- Hands-on experience in processing-intensive analytics, real-time systems, and managing large data sets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; or five (5) additional years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph.
