Job Summary: We are seeking mechanically inclined, professional, HVAC Service Technicians to serve our customers with at least 5 years of verifiable experience. A focus on safety, quality, efficiency, and total customer satisfaction is required. A successful candidate will participate in continuing education, pass a pre-employment physical and be able to work full-time.
Job Description/Duties:
- Inspect, diagnose, and perform emergency and/or scheduled service on air conditioning, heating, control systems, along with humidity and temperature control systems for commercial customers
- Provide preventative maintenance on heating and cooling systems
- Build strong customer relationships; build knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs/expectations
- Must be capable of diagnosing and explaining all problems and options to client
- Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical components of HVAC and plumbing equipment
- Take after hours on-call duty as part of a company rotation
Skills & Competencies
- High school diploma or equivalent
- OSHA 10
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable record
- HVAC Service Tech with Gas License
- EPA Certified
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- The ability to listen and follow directions
- Receptive to new ideas and questions
- Capability of working in all weather conditions & temperatures
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Efficient and organized
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to drive to service locations
- Capability of lifting & carrying 50 pounds
- Prolonged periods of standing/walking
- Often squatting, reaching and working overhead
- Capacity to climb stairs
- Work at varying heights while on a ladder
- Must work in all indoor and outdoor climates
Supplemental Pay:
