Position Summary: Accountable for assisting management in providing detailed analysis of Production Control related data in order to obtain continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
· Analyzes shipping defects, proposes and implements counter measures to reduce the cost of defective processing.
· Develop, Analyzes, and track PC processes and Kohsu rates.
· Responds to problems and abnormal situations and offers countermeasures.
· Trains Operators, Team Leaders and Supervisors with specialized knowledge and skills related to Production Control.
· Proposes improvements aimed at increasing efficiency in the entire Production Control Process.
· Make recommendations and budget proposals for implementing kaizen activities.
· Assists with generating annual manpower plan.
· Aids in the warehouse layout, material flow and location control.
· May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.
Quality / Environmental Roles and Responsibilities:
· Follows all procedures and work instructions and make recommendations to improve the process. Notifies Leader immediately upon detecting any non-conformances.
· Records all non-conformances to ensure corrective action and preventative measures are taken and assist in the problem solving process.
· Communicates and practices DMNC’s Quality and Environmental Management Systems. Takes an active role in achieving and maintaining IATF-16949 and ISO-14001.
Knowledge, Skills and Education Required:
· Requires a proven level of advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
· Requires extensive knowledge of warehouse and supply chain management and related processes.
· Requires previous experience Time Study and Kohsu management
· Requires the ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral formats.
· Requires the proficient use of computer skills.
· Requires advanced skills in Excel
· Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Engineering or related field or equivalent experience in related field is required.
Working Conditions:
Manufacturing environment. Automated machinery. Safety glasses and shoes required. Position requires standing, walking and may be required to move, lift or carry objects weighing up to 35 lbs.
