DENSO is looking for a 3rd Shift Production Floor Leader in the Athens, TN facility. The Production Floor Leader will coordinate manufacturing activity responses, resources, and internal/external communications to achieve and maintain established safety, quality, productivity, cost, and employee morale goals. This role is also vital for Change Point Control across multiple production lines, assuring to evaluate & mitigate quality risk. As well as provide guidance and coaching to team leaders with the goal of improving and developing their team leader skills.

Job Summary:

Shift Hours: 11:30pm - 7:30am
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and controlling safety, quality and production and all variables attributed to the success of the company to meet all the KPI for each area.
- Report issues to COC
- Train and communicate with subordinates for the success of Denso.
- Negotiate, provide input and recommendations both internally and externally.
- Coordinate and monitor a high level of activity as demonstrated under a variety of conditions and constraints.
- Comprehend complex instructions and respond effectively as well as perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly.
- Prepares reports and attend and conduct meetings as necessary.
- May assume responsibilities of team members in their absence.
- In daily management situations; coordinates appropriate responses for proper abnormality management.
- Provide support to Manager and Team Leader to ensure proper alignment of resources for daily operations.
- Support resource alignment across multiple lines/products in preparation for Manager level advancement opportunities.
- 3- 5 years of previous manufacturing leadership experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Able to work in a variety of adverse environmental conditions, such as heat, cold, noise, etc.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in business/organizational management or related studies
