Maternal Child Health – Serve your community with a job in Public Health! Our mission is to improve the health of all Dent County residents. To further that mission, the Dent County Health Center is seeking a full-time project coordinator for our MCH programs.. Public or community health experience preferred.
Job duties to include:
Oversees various Women's Health and Child Health services, including
- Family Planning Program
- Show-Me Healthy Women Program
- Maternal-Child Health Grant
- Childcare Health Consultation Grant
- Safe Cribs
- Carseats
Other duties will depend on qualifications. With a nursing or medical background, additional duties will include:
- Immunization administration
- Phlebotomy
- Assistance of Nurse Practitioner/Provider
- CPR instruction
With Public Health/Business/Other background, other duties will include:
- Coordinating the accreditation process.
- Assisting with community health assessment.
- Opioid/drug overdose prevention activities
- Etc.
Qualifications
- Nursing degree, Master of Public Health Degree, or related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft office, including Excel
- Proficiency with electronic health records
Pay is commensurate with experience and degree.
