Maternal Child Health – Serve your community with a job in Public Health! Our mission is to improve the health of all Dent County residents. To further that mission, the Dent County Health Center is seeking a full-time project coordinator for our MCH programs.. Public or community health experience preferred.

Job duties to include:

Oversees various Women's Health and Child Health services, including

  • Family Planning Program
  • Show-Me Healthy Women Program
  • Maternal-Child Health Grant
  • Childcare Health Consultation Grant
  • Safe Cribs
  • Carseats

Other duties will depend on qualifications. With a nursing or medical background, additional duties will include:

  • Immunization administration
  • Phlebotomy
  • Assistance of Nurse Practitioner/Provider
  • CPR instruction

With Public Health/Business/Other background, other duties will include:

  • Coordinating the accreditation process.
  • Assisting with community health assessment.
  • Opioid/drug overdose prevention activities
  • Etc.

Qualifications

  • Nursing degree, Master of Public Health Degree, or related experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office, including Excel
  • Proficiency with electronic health records

Pay is commensurate with experience and degree.

Benefits include 120 hours of sick leave, 120 hours of vacation, 13 paid holidays, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, LAGERS retirement.
