As an Area Operations Manager your essential job functions include :

Leadership (35%)

  • Create a positive and productive working environment consistent with Dent Wizard’s core values
  • Lead, coach and develop team to drive productivity and retention – complete ride-alongs as necessary
  • Address day-to-day operational issues and ensure maintenance of customer sites for EHS and cleanliness
  • Deliver Dealer / Rental operating performance for assigned customers in terms of Revenue, EBITDA, LSR, Employee Engagement and Retention
  • Ensure delivery of five-star service by developing schedules, assigning and monitoring work, implementing productivity and quality standards, resolving operations problems, and implementing new procedures.
  • Partner with enabling functions to drive operational efficiencies, understand and implement standard operating procedures, and effective cost reductions without sacrificing five-star service expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and simplify processes, as well as optimize day-to-day operations
  • Provide timely feedback to manager regarding competitive pressures, customer feedback and the engagement of staff
  • Participate in field town hall communications

Customer Engagement (35%)

  • Ensure fulfillment of service meets customer expectations
  • Develop strong customer relationships, deliver five-star customer service and participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
  • Partner with Sales to ensure Team Sell approach and expand services
  • Maintain knowledge of customer pricing and service expectations.
  • Expediently address customer, operational, and performance concerns.
  • Identify and implement value-added customer solutions
  • Staffing (20%)

  • Drive talent selection and hiring for area roles needed
  • On-board new employees, setting them up for success by educating them on role, expectations, processes, and policies.
  • Drive a culture of coaching through on the job engagement and formalized training to support technician development, engagement, and retention
  • Administration (10%)

  • Troubleshoot most critical operational and personnel issues
  • Ensure sites meet compliance standards (environmental, safety, and health)
  • Support and adhere to DW’s policies and procedures on ethics standards and commitments

  • Position Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years leadership experience required.
  • 3 years proven operations experience in a similar type of environment.
  • Auto and reconditioning industry experience preferred.
  • Physical Job Requirements

  • Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.
  • Travel as necessary (up to 20%).
  • The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and geographic location.

    The starting compensation is expected to be :

    80,000.00 - $115,000.00
