Job Description
We're on the lookout for an Area Operations Manager to join our team! You'll be responsible for keeping our current accounts happy and finding new ones in your territory. Plus, you'll oversee daily operations, including supervising Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) and other reconditioning technicians. Your goal? Effective planning and maximum profitability. What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage and coach employees in different locations.
- Great time-management skills.
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Experience in account management and/or sales in a services-based company is preferred.
- Automotive service experience is a plus.
What You'll Do:
- Keep and grow business with existing customers and actively look for new business in your territory.
- Work closely with the District Manager to plan and use each Technician's time effectively, helping them reach their earnings potential and maximizing territory profitability.
- Set monthly and annual sales goals with the District Manager and create a plan to achieve them.
- Support Hail Team operations during hail storms, focusing on dealerships and body shops where we already have relationships.
- Sell PDR for Profit programs.
- Help technicians provide top-notch customer service and maximize billings in each service drive on their route.
- Coordinate new hire orientation for a smooth transition into the company and their assigned accounts.
- Hold monthly meetings with Technicians to share tips and feedback on sales techniques and performance skills.
- Ensure Technicians get the support and training they need to improve their PDR skills.
- Schedule advanced training for Technicians.
- Be a Team Leader and mentor to Technicians, staying in close contact daily through calls and in-person meetings to resolve any concerns or performance issues.
- Work with the District Manager to ensure we have the right staffing levels for current and new business opportunities.
- Proactively address any employee performance issues.
- Conduct performance reviews to highlight strengths and areas for improvement and develop improvement plans.
- Complete administrative tasks like invoicing and daily call-in numbers on time.
- Manage tool inventory for your territory.
- Handle requests for mobile retail PDR services by scheduling appointments between customers and Technicians.
