Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. The Dentist will diagnose and treat various dental conditions, educate patients on oral health, and maintain accurate medical records.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Conduct various dental procedures, including but not limited to fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Administer local anesthesia and perform oral surgery as required.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Utilize Dentrix software for managing patient records and scheduling appointments.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Skills
- Proficient in dental terminology and practices related to general dentistry.
- Strong understanding of infection control procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Experience in prosthodontics, oral surgery, pediatrics, and root canal therapy is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Epic is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise clinical procedures.
