Position Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Dental Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing routine maintenance on a variety of dental equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow in our clinic. Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance & Repair
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair dental equipment (e.g., handpieces, autoclaves, X-ray units, chairs, etc.) in a timely manner. - Preventive Maintenance
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and ensure optimal equipment performance. - Documentation & Inventory
Maintain accurate service records, track repair histories, and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies. - Compliance & Safety
Ensure all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, safety protocols, and relevant dental regulations. - Customer Service
Communicate effectively with dental staff to schedule repairs, provide equipment usage guidance, and address any technical concerns.
Qualifications
- Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or relevant coursework in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field is a plus. - Experience
Previous experience in equipment repair or a related technical position is preferred. Experience with dental, medical, or similar equipment is highly advantageous. - Technical Skills
Strong troubleshooting abilities, familiarity with reading and understanding technical manuals, and proficiency with standard repair tools. - Other Requirements

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to travel locally (if needed) for on-site repairs
