We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterilization Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and sterile environment for our patients and staff. Duties
- Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to sterilization processes.
- Assist with the preparation of treatment areas by ensuring all necessary instruments are sterile and ready for use and breaking down/cleaning and setting up the treatment rooms.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed during patient interactions.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and receptionists to ensure seamless patient care.
- Uphold infection control standards by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Stay updated on dental procedures to include endodontics practices, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in sterilization techniques.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental setting is preferred, particularly in roles involving dental assisting or as a dental receptionist.
- Familiarity with Carestream software is a plus.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices is essential.
- Ability to understand and implement safety standards related to sterilization processes.

Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
