Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Provide patients with oral care instructions following surgery or other dental treatments
- Record patient medical histories and maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Valid x-ray certification
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant
- Experience taking impressions and pouring models
- Experience assisting during a variety of procedures such as CR/SR fillings, crown/bridge prep
- Ability to setup and breakdown operatories
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Experience with dental software such as Open Dental is preferred
