The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining financial procedures and confirming financial compliance through preparation of a company’s reports and statements. This position will report to the Controller.

Specific Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries, financial statements, account reconciliations and analysis
- Assist with month-end closing of the general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Review financial results and prepare variance analysis and explanations from prior trends and budget
- Recommend improvements to current processes and ways to reduce costs and enhance revenue
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual covenant reporting
- Assist with calculation of provider payrolls
- Prepare documentation for external auditors
- Various special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- At least three years’ experience in accounting or a related field
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Big ERP NetSuite experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Highly proficient in accounting software
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports
