What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Assistant position at Dental by Desgin?
Overview:
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. Experience or no experience, we will train you! The ideal candidate will have experience in dental procedures and possess knowledge of various dental software programs.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare equipment for dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
Experience:
The ideal candidate should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:
- Proficiency in Dentrix software
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques in a dental setting
- Experience maintaining medical records
- Understanding of infection control protocols
Hours:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Wednesdays we are open 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Fridays 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Willingness to commute to our MA office is required
