Dental One Associates is looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team in Columbia, MD. We are a large practice featuring 31 operatories and 12 providers. Our highly skilled dentists perform general dentistry, cosmetic procedures, orthodontic treatment, periodontics, prosthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and sedation dentistry, which equates to learning opportunities and skill-growth potential for our hygienists.
Position Overview:
We are passionate about preventive oral health care and value our hygiene team and the important role they play in our success. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care in a supportive, friendly environment with opportunities for professional growth. We understand the importance of keeping up with the latest technology, for the benefit of our patients as well as our staff, and are currently utilizing 3d cone beam, Itero scanner, digital x-rays, Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) and Overjet AI.
Schedule:
Tuesday-Thursday (8:00-5:00) and Fri (8:00-2:00)

- Perform routine dental cleanings and oral maintenance
- Conduct oral health assessments and take dental X-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
- Assist dentists with exams and treatments as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Follow sterilization and infection control protocols
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
