Dental Hygienist - Part-time

Overview

Moorestown Dental Professionals is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team at our office located in Moorestown, NJ 08057.  This is a part-time position working Tue (7am-6pm), and Thu (7am-5pm), 1 hour lunch break with some flexibility in the schedule.  The position also has potential to grow into a full-time position in the future if desired.

 

Part-time position offers:

• $48-$55 per hour (depending on experience)

  Moorestown Dental Professionals is a well-established, successful practice, serving our community with excellent dental services since 2008. At our state-of-the-art facility, we specialize in Family, Cosmetic and Biomimetic Dentistry.  We understand the importance of keeping up with the latest technology, and are excited to be adding Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) in the near future! Our dentists are passionate about making sure our patients have the best care possible and recognize our hygienists as valuable team-members in making that happen.  Previous RDH experience is always a plus but, we also encourage new hygiene grads to apply as well.  The hygienist we hire must have an active Hygiene license for the state of New Jersey. Responsibilities

• Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times 
• Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
• Patient screening, medical history and dental charting. 
• Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. 
• Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease. 
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Active Hygiene license for the state of New Jersey
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
