Minimum Qualifications:
- A current dental hygienist license in South Carolina and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (as required).
- In-depth knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience:
- At least 1 year of clinical experience.
- Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development to meet the evolving needs of patients and provide preventative care.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation, as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- The capacity to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability to participate in virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year.
- A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, which will be arranged during the pre-employment process.
