As a dental hygienist with our practice, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive dental hygiene services to patients. Your expertise will be essential in advocating for patient health and well-being, while also participating in ongoing learning and skill enhancement in dental hygiene procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality dental hygiene services to patients, including routine cleanings, examinations, and screenings.
- Advocate for patient health and well-being by identifying and addressing oral health issues and concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental hygiene procedures and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
- A valid dental hygienist license in North Carolina is required, along with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification is also required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- New and seasoned hygienists are welcome to apply.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems is an asset.
- A desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
