**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality oral healthcare to patients. This is a part-time position currently with an opportunity for full-time in the near future. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take and develop dental x-rays - Maintain accurate patient records - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices **Skills:** The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: - Proficiency in using 3D scanners for dental imaging - Knowledge of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment - Understanding of dental anatomy and terminology - Experience with dental imaging software, such as Open Dental and SOTA- Ability to assist in restoration, crown, implant, and endodontic procedures - Strong infection control practices - Familiarity with medical documentation requirements This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and fun dental environment, assisting in various dental procedures and contributing to patient care.
