Position Summary :
The HR Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Human Resources department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. They assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR department and contribute to creating a positive and efficient work environment. The HR Assistant provides support in areas such as employee relations, recruitment and selection, onboarding, record-keeping, and general HR functions.

Although the Human Resources Assistant may be administrative in nature, the role is significant and impactful to the success of DCS. Supporting strategic HR functions include, but not limited to : Efficient HR Operations, Positive Employee Experience, Compliance, Risk Management, Administrative Support, Employee Relations and Engagement.
In this role, you will :
Recruitment & Hiring Support
- Screen applicants, review resumes, and assess hiring assessments for alignment with role qualifications.
- Conduct background screenings, reference checks and assist with hiring inquiries.
- Coordinate interviews and track candidates through the hiring process.
Onboarding & Employee Data Management
Payroll & Benefits Administration
HR Operations & Compliance
Employee Engagement & Communication
