Responsibilities :
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits
- Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
- Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
- Document patient treatment plans and progress accurately
- Take X-rays (FMX,4BW, etc.)
- Record periodontal charting
- Assist in the review of documentation to ensure compliance with dental standards
- Collaborate with dentists in providing care for pediatric patients as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental workspace, adhering to infection control protocols
- Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
