We are a general dentistry practice looking for a Certified Dental Assistant or an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. Our office is located in Daytona Beach, FL. Most of our work days start at 7:30. Our office is paperless, using Dentrix Ascend with digital radiographs, CT/Pan, digital scanning and CEREC milling.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take dental x-rays
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Assist with dental lab tasks, such designing and milling crowns and taking digital scans.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification required
- Experience working with dental technology
- Proficiency in using electronic dental software systems for patient management, scheduling, and billing
- Knowledge of dental coding and insurance billing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
