Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of general dentistry practices
- Familiarity with medical coding and terminology
- Experience with maintaining medical records
- Ability to perform aseptic techniques
- Competency in dental assisting procedures
- Understanding of four-handed dentistry techniques
- Familiarity with dental terminology
- Ability to take vital signs accurately
Nice-to-Have Skills:
