Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. The Dentist will perform a variety of procedures, including examinations, extractions, and oral surgeries, while maintaining a safe and aseptic environment in the clinic.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform dental extractions, oral surgeries, and other necessary procedures with precision.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose dental conditions accurately.
- Implement four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance patient care and efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain an aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Provide pediatric dental care, addressing the unique needs of younger patients.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote overall health.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure a smooth workflow in the dental office.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in dental extractions, oral surgery, and medical imaging techniques.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and procedures.
- Excellent patient assessment skills with a focus on delivering compassionate care.
- Experience working in a dental clinic environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented setting while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
