Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Removebale Dental Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating dental prosthetics and appliances, ensuring high-quality standards are met in accordance with dental specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and laboratory practices to effectively support our dental professionals in providing exceptional patient care.
Duties
- Fabricate dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances using various materials and techniques.
- Interpret prescriptions from dentists and ensure accurate measurements and specifications are followed.
- Utilize tools such as micrometers to ensure precision in the fabrication process.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to discuss patient cases and provide insights based on laboratory findings.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and materials to enhance fabrication processes.
- Assist with the training of new staff or interns in laboratory procedures and equipment use.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Dental Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment including micrometers and other precision tools.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Previous experience in dental assisting is advantageous but not mandatory.
