Compensation and Benefits for Periodontal Hygienists at DHA
- Competitive starting pay of $43 per hour, with potential for higher earnings based on experience and performance.
- Generous $10,000 sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team. (Eligible to PT & FT Employees.)
- Quarterly performance bonuses of up to $2,000, totaling up to $8,000 annually.
- Top performers can earn over $100,000 annually.
- Additional bonuses for per quad scaling and extra shifts.
Responsibilities
- Provide periodontal care, including scaling, root planing, and maintenance cleanings.
- Educate patients about periodontal disease prevention and oral hygiene practices specific to their needs.
- Take and process dental X-rays to assist in diagnosing periodontal issues and treatment planning.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile treatment area following all safety and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with Dr. Matthew Lorson, and other team members to provide comprehensive care for periodontal patients.
Qualifications
- Active state dental hygiene license or eligibility for licensure.
- Current CPR certification.
- A passion for periodontal care and a desire to help patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health.
Education
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with the dental team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining patient records and treatment areas.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on learning, growing, and staying current in the field of periodontal care.
