Your primary responsibilities include serving as the first main point of contact on the phone and in-person between the dental office and patients, coordinating and organizing appointments and administration to facilitate the efficient running of the dental office.
- Greet and check in patients with a welcoming and professional presence
- Answer multi-line phones in a friendly and warm tone
- Schedule appointments with care and attention to detail
- Confirm upcoming appointments and follow up on missed visits
- Verify insurance and collect copays or outstanding balances
- Coordinate, integrate, and represent all facets of patient services
- Communicate with providers and staff to ensure smooth office flow
- Provide an exceptional patient experience at every interaction
- Manage and control the daily, weekly, and monthly schedule
- Other job responsibilities can include reordering supplies, filing insurance claims, billing, and maintaining patient records and billing
