What You'll Do
The Staff Accountant will be a key member of the accounting team and reports to the Accounting Manager. They are primarily responsible for maintaining the general ledger and related supporting schedules, assisting in month end close, preparing adjusting journal entries, entering invoices and making payments, assisting with the company's external audit, and other ad hoc reporting and projects.

What You'll Do
The Staff Accountant will be a key member of the accounting team and reports to the Accounting Manager. They are primarily responsible for maintaining the general ledger and related supporting schedules, assisting in month end close, preparing adjusting journal entries, entering invoices and making payments, assisting with the company's external audit, and other ad hoc reporting and projects.
Outcomes You’ll Own
- Monthly and year-end reconciliations and closing procedures
- Accurate entering and preparation ofpayments to vendors
- Assisting in departmental cost reporting
- Preparingad-hoc reports
- Assisting with external reporting
- Bachelor's degree, completed or in progress, related to accounting/finance or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience
- Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures regarding accruals, cash, month-end closing cycles, general ledger, financial accounting, Sarbanes Oxley
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- This is a hybrid role within ourPleasant Grove office
