Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires proficiency in various dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic technique protocols.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs as required.
  • Record patient vital signs and medical history accurately.
  • Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff.
  • Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes when necessary.
  • Provide chairside assistance during endodontic procedures and other general dentistry tasks.
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software.
  • Ensure the dental clinic is organized, clean, and compliant with health regulations.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, general dentistry practices, and endodontics is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols is essential.
  • Proficiency in using 3D scanners and dental software such as Eaglesoft is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Certification in CPR or BLS is preferred but not required at the time of hire.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
