We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic technique protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs as required.
- Record patient vital signs and medical history accurately.
- Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff.
- Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes when necessary.
- Provide chairside assistance during endodontic procedures and other general dentistry tasks.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software.
- Ensure the dental clinic is organized, clean, and compliant with health regulations.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, general dentistry practices, and endodontics is advantageous.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols is essential.
- Proficiency in using 3D scanners and dental software such as Eaglesoft is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification in CPR or BLS is preferred but not required at the time of hire.
