We are looking for an experienced front office patient coordinator specialist for our growing dental practice.

Some of the job responsibilities are:
- Schedule appointments according to the perfect day scheduling protocol (needs to use quick thinking skills to methodically place patients on the schedule).
- Greet all arriving patients with a smile & inform the team of their arrival.
- Register new patients according to established office protocols.
- Assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation.
- Verify and update patient information.
- Inform patients of dental office procedures and policy.
- Enter all patient information into data system accurately.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Answer and manage incoming calls.
- Respond and comply to requests for information.
- Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol.
- Check daily appointment schedule and meet scheduling goals.
- Arrange patient charts for next day appointments and verify insurance coverage.
- Collect co-payments from patients at time of treatment.
Skills required:
- Proficient in operating phone systems and handling multiple phone lines.
- Strong knowledge of office procedures and administrative tasks.
- Maintain a professional reception area.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and dental office operations.
- Experience working with practice management software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Initial training will be in our State College office for the first month. Once the initial training is completed, a monthly work day in State College is required for continued training along with occasional Zoom training sessions.
