Position Overview
The Practice Manager will oversee the daily operations, administrative staff, financial performance, and patient experience of our practice. This role requires a strong leader with dental practice management experience who is looking to build a long-term career with us. You will work closely with the practice owner, CFO, and clinical team to ensure seamless operations, compliance, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management – Recruit, train, and manage the administrative team, ensuring a positive and efficient work environment.
- Long-Term Practice Growth & Development – Develop and implement strategies to increase patient volume, improve processes, and enhance referral programs.
- Financial Oversight – Work with the CFO and accountant to monitor budgets, manage financial reporting, and ensure profitability.
- Patient Experience – Maintain and improve the overall patient journey, from scheduling to post-operative care.
- Compliance & Facility Management – Ensure adherence to HIPAA and OSHA regulations while overseeing the facility, equipment, and vendor relationships.
- Technology & Operational Efficiency – Optimize practice management software (WINoms preferred) and implement best practices for efficiency.
- Problem-Solving & Continuous Improvement – Identify challenges and implement innovative solutions to improve operations and enhance practice performance.
Who We Are Looking For:
- A long-term team player committed to the success and growth of our practice.
- Dental practice management experience (oral surgery or related specialty preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus but not required).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and practice operations.
- Proficiency in practice management software (WINoms preferred) & Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
- Passion for improving patient experiences and optimizing practice operations.
