Associate Dentist (5 Years Exp) – Production/Collection Focused | Anaheim, CA

Our office serves a diverse patient base through PPO, FFS, HMO, and Denti-Cal plans, and we’re looking for an experienced Associate Dentist (5 years) who thrives in a metrics-driven environment and can consistently meet production goals while delivering outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive exams, diagnoses, and treatment across general dentistry
- Meet individual production goals through consistent, efficient patient care
- Monitor key performance metrics including daily production, collections %, and treatment acceptance
- Collaborate with treatment coordinators and team leads on follow-ups and scheduling unscheduled treatment
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation aligned with insurance protocols (HMO/Denti-Cal compliance)
- Maintain a patient-first approach with a strong focus on education and trust
Metrics & Performance Expectations:
- Daily Production Goal: $4,000–$6,000/day (adjusted for payor mix)
- Collection Percentage: 90–98% of net production
- Case Acceptance: ≥ 70% within 30 days
- Chair Utilization: ≥ 85% of scheduled hours
- Unscheduled Treatment Management: Timely follow-ups with support staff
Requirements:
- 5 years of clinical experience as a general dentist
- Current California Dental License and malpractice insurance
- Familiarity with PPO, FFS, HMO, and Denti-Cal treatment planning
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in restorative dentistry (endo, crowns, etc.)
- Comfortable working toward and tracking personal performance goals
- Professional demeanor, great communication skills, and a team-first mindset
