Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support in a dental office setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with dental software systems, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix)
- Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of medical documentation
- Coordinate patient referrals to specialists as needed
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Manage office inventory and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth operations of the office
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Proficiency in using dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Epic) for scheduling and record keeping
- Knowledge of dental scheduling procedures and phone systems
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties, including managing patient records and insurance verification
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
