Medical and Dental Assistant Job Description

Clinical Dental Assistant Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Dental Assistant to join our team at Dentist Partner Pros.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, assisting the surgeon during procedures, and reviewing patient health histories.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing patients for procedures, including explaining procedures and answering patient questions.
• Providing assistance to the surgeon during procedures, which may include suctioning or suturing wounds.
• Reviewing patient health histories and documenting medications and medical conditions.
• Taking and developing X-rays, photos, and CBCTs, and uploading them to patient charts.

Requirements:

• PREFERRED: at least 1 year of Oral Maxillofacial / dental implant surgery assisting (OMSA or DAANCE certificate).
• Surgical Technologist Certificate (a plus).
• Dental X-ray/radiology license.
• Strong vocabulary and communication skills.
• High school graduate and above level of education.
• A knowledge of medical and dental terminology.
