Key responsibilities include administering IV placement for all surgical patients, monitoring patients' vital signs, assisting in the preparation of patients for surgical procedures, and assisting with surgical procedures. You will also assess patients' conditions, administer appropriate medical treatment, and respond promptly to medical emergencies.
Requirements include a strong critical thinking skillset, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to remain calm and focused under high-pressure situations. A valid current Paramedic certification/license is required, along with additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
