Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose dental issues.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including endodontics, root canal therapy, and extractions.
- Utilize medical imaging technology to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and other staff to ensure efficient patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and incorporate new techniques into practice as appropriate.
- Provide compassionate care to pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort during treatment.
Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in dental terminology, medical documentation, patient assessment, and medical records management.
- Experience in performing endodontics, root canal therapy, dental extractions, and working with pediatric patients is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
