Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health and diagnose dental conditions.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including but not limited to dental extractions, oral surgery, and restorative treatments.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Document patient information accurately in medical records, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide the best possible care.
Experience
- Proven experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy relevant to dentistry.
- Competence in performing general dentistry procedures with an emphasis on patient-centered care.
- Experience with oral surgery techniques is a plus, along with the ability to perform complex dental extractions.
