What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Dentist position at Dentistry of South Florida?
Duties :
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, bone grafting, crown and bridge, Invisalign, implant restorative and / or implant placement a plus
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive oral healthcare
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records systems in Eaglesoft
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment
- Utilize medical imaging technology to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning (We utilize Overjet and Itero)
- Conduct patient assessments including taking vital signs and reviewing medical history
- Provide exceptional patient care with a focus on comfort and satisfaction
