We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oral Surgeon to join our dental practice on a part-time basis, working one day a month, to start. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing high-quality oral surgical care, a patient-centric approach, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of oral and maxillofacial surgeries, including extractions (simple and complex), dental implants, bone grafting, and sinus lifts.
- Collaborate with the general dental team to provide comprehensive patient care, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient comfort.
- Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate surgical treatment plans based on clinical assessments and diagnostic findings.
- Provide post-operative care and follow-up, ensuring the patient’s recovery is on track.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Stay current with advances in oral surgery techniques and best practices.
Qualifications:
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of an accredited oral surgery residency program.
- Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (preferred).
- Valid state license to practice as an oral surgeon.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients and staff in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
