We are looking for a motivated and experienced Dental Assistant to become an integral part of our vibrant team in a fast-paced dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering top-notch patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of our clinic. This role requires a solid understanding of dental terminology, infection control procedures, and the ability to assist with various dental treatments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during patient exams and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready.
  • Follow strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Utilize 3D scanning technology for precise imaging and impressions, when needed.
  • Manage and maintain accurate patient records, including medical coding and documenting treatments.
  • Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene, and treatment plans.
  • Keep the clinic organized, clean, and stocked with the required supplies.
  • Collaborate closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care and support.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic role.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in infection control systems and aseptic techniques.
  • Experience with dental imaging equipment; knowledge of 3D scanning is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both patients and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to maintain accurate records and manage supplies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
