Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during patient exams and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready.
- Follow strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize 3D scanning technology for precise imaging and impressions, when needed.
- Manage and maintain accurate patient records, including medical coding and documenting treatments.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene, and treatment plans.
- Keep the clinic organized, clean, and stocked with the required supplies.
- Collaborate closely with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care and support.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic role.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.
- Proficiency in infection control systems and aseptic techniques.
- Experience with dental imaging equipment; knowledge of 3D scanning is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both patients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to maintain accurate records and manage supplies.
