Duties
- Lead and mentor the clinical team, providing guidance on best practices in orthodontic procedures and patient care.
- Oversee daily clinical operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to protocols.
- Assist in orthodontic procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance workflow.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical record standards.
- Coordinate with dental receptionists to streamline patient scheduling and communication.
- Conduct X-ray imaging and interpret results as necessary for treatment planning.
- Monitor vital signs of patients as required during procedures.
- Collaborate with other dental specialties, including endodontics and pediatric dentistry, to provide comprehensive care.
- Implement and maintain systems for tracking patient progress and treatment outcomes using software such as Epic.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in an orthodontic or dental clinic setting is required.
- Strong knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques and familiarity with X-ray procedures.
- Experience with medical records management and understanding of compliance regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Leadership experience preferred, with a focus on team development and training.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
