Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthodontic Clinical Team Lead to oversee our clinical team and ensure the highest standards of patient care in our orthodontic practice. Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor clinical staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations within the clinic.
- Oversee patient treatment plans, ensuring that all procedures are performed accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in the development of clinical protocols and best practices for orthodontic procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation for all patients, including treatment records and progress notes.
- Utilize advanced technology such as 3D scanners for patient assessments and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with other dental professionals, including those specializing in endodontics, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and more to provide comprehensive care.
- Conduct regular training sessions on vital signs monitoring, anatomy knowledge, X-ray procedures, and medical terminology for staff development.
Experience
- Must have experience working as a dental assistant.
- Proven experience as a dental assistant with a focus on orthodontics is required.
- Familiarity with endodontics, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and other dental specialties is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using 3D scanning technology and other dental equipment.
- Strong understanding of medical documentation practices and relevant terminology.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
