Responsibilities

• Perform various dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, and bridges.
• Utilize medical imaging technology to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry, including pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and disease management.
• Experience with medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
• Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
