Description
We are looking for a fun, compassionate, and dedicated Childcare Specialist to plan children's activities and provide childcare for children who have been impacted by relationship violence and / or sexual assault at the agency non-residential office and emergency shelter. The ideal candidate will have open availability Monday-Friday between 10am-4pm and Saturdays between 10am-3pm.
Reports to : Operations Manager
Primary Functions
- Train and supervise childcare interns and volunteers as needed
- Coordinate age appropriate children's activities and childcare
- Provide support for parents of child and adolescent victims
- Ensure needed supplies are available
- Keep childcare rooms clean and organized
- Set limits as needed to ensure safety for all children
- Monitor children at all times.
- Participate in DCFOF staff and education meetings as requested
