Position Overview:
The Merchandise Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the team’s merchandise operations, including inventory management, product ordering, and the day-to-day running of the team’s online store, retail store and retail operations at home games and events. The role requires a keen eye for merchandising, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the fan experience. You’ll work closely with the marketing and sales teams to ensure the merchandise is aligned with the team’s brand and that our fans have access to exclusive, high-quality products they’ll love.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, track product orders, and ensure that merchandise is well-stocked and organized across all retail locations (in-stadium, online store, etc.).
- Product Ordering: Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to order products, ensuring timely delivery and competitive pricing.
- Retail Operations: Manage the merchandise booths during home games, special events, and at off-site locations, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
- Sales Support: Provide excellent customer service to fans in-store, answering questions, assisting with purchases, and promoting key products.
- Online Store Management: Oversee the online merchandise store, including product listings, promotions, and shipping/fulfillment processes.
- Seasonal Merchandise Launches: Coordinate with marketing and design teams to create and launch seasonal collections, promotions, and special edition products that reflect key moments in the team’s season.
- Event Planning: Help organize merchandise-related activities at fan events, community outreach programs, and game-day promotions.
- Brand Alignment: Ensure all products, displays, and promotions reflect the team’s brand and mission while appealing to fans’ interests.
- Reporting: Track sales performance, manage budgets, and report on merchandise sales, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
